Imported files may seem to fail for several reasons. Vertex tries to give you as much access to your data as possible, so failures may result in several outcomes.

This file appears as successful in the Activity list.
However, when you navigate to the model entry in the File Manager, the file is listed with a caution icon. In this case, you can still open the model.
