- At the top of the BOM panel, type two or more characters.
The BOM automatically filters.
Tip: You can copy a part’s name by right-clicking the part, choosing Show Properties, and then copying the full name of the part that appears below the BOM. Paste the name at the top of the BOM panel to filter on all parts with that name, or use it outside of Vertex. - (Optional) To change whether the subassemblies or parts are hidden or visible, do one of the following:
- For a single part, click the icon after the part name.
The icons indicate the following- Visible
- Hidden
- Partially visible
(assemblies and subassemblies)
- Visible
- For multiple parts that are not adjacent, press the Control key (Command on Mac) as you click parts or subassemblies. Right-click and choose Hide Selected or Show Selected.
- For multiple parts that are adjacent, click the first part, press Shift, and click the last part. Right-click and choose Hide Selected or Show Selected.
